[Warclaidhm's Consolation Room]
The room is huge, crafted out of rotting wood and stone. The walls, floor, and roof look as old as time, and you notice a horrible rancid stench, as if someone or something just died in this very room. You try to hold your nose and cover your mouth from the stench, but it is to strong. To the left and right of the room you see kelyn-edged items, along with veil iron and urglaes-spiked items on the rotted wooden shelves on the wall. You also see a strange wooden door, and some tiny creaking wood steps.
You decide to approach the door, as you do sudden gust of wind picks up and blows you into the door! Suddenly the door slams shut, and you find yourself locked in this strange room. You feel someone touch your shoulder, as you turn around to see who it is, you notice Warclaidhm standing there, his hand on your shoulder once agian. He says, "Ah, so ye want to be a merchant, aye?". "Well being a merchant isn't easy, it takes alot of patience and time!". He continues, his hand on your shoulder as he whispers: "What ye have to do friend is to buy and sell items, fer profit, its quite easy to buy the items, but selling them isn't all dat easy!". His voice returns to a normal level, his hand still on your shoulder, as he continues: "That is the secret to merchanting' friend, just buy and sell items. But that's not all, it takes alot of patience. If ye dun have patience to sell the items, ye will never get anywhere!" He glances around the room, as to see if anyone else is there, and he continues: "If ye go though the stairs up there, you'll find a price guide for your items, but there's one problem, the door is locked shut!" His eyes suddenly turn to fear, "How are we going to get out?" Then his eyes turn bright, he removes a kelyn-edged claidhmore from his harness, and bashes the door open with it! He pants, as he points to the door and says in a weak tone, "Now go friend, go though the door, then go up the steps".
You then go though the door, and up the steps. The door slams shut once agian, and you notice the famliar faintly glowing sign in this room as well. It is a wood dwelling, crafted out of nothing but wood, and strangely, the only thing in the room is the faintly glowing sign.
As you begin to read the sign, the glowing script reveals itself:
Here's a price guide fer yer items! Jus' in case yer wonderin'! Dey are just estimates, but I try my best to be accurate!
-- Forest green briginadine. This brig is +17 or +18, quite close to 4x. However, it is heavily crit weighted agianst critical blows. It is scale armor that covers every part of the body. It is worth around 7m.
-- Pyrothag Hide Brigandine: +25, somewhat crit padding. Around 4m-5m I'd estimate.
-- Supple black hunting leathers: +18 double leather, somewhat crit padding. Almost 4x leathers, worth bout 700k.
-- Siren scale leather: +25 reinforced leather, somewhat crit padding. 5x, around 4m.
-- Imflass alloy double ring mail: +12 hauberk, decent damage padding. 3.5m.
-- Black plate armor: +25, full plate, somewhat crit padding. 15m.
-- mithril-linked brigandine: +10, brigandine, somewhat damage padding. 750k
-- Fish spine sword: +0, broadsword, exceptional crit weighting. 900k-1.5m.
-- Jagged edged fishspine sword: +10, broadsword, somewhat damage weighting. 250k.
-- A jagged edged mithril falchion, +15, somewhat damage weighting. 3x. 350k-450k.
-- Fel-hafted vultite waraxe: +20, handaxe, heavy crit weighting. 4m.
-- Faenor waraxe: +8, handaxe, very heavy crit weighting. 2.5m-3m.
-- Viciously spiked rolaren mace: +20, mace, heavy crit weighting. 3m
--
Golvern morning star: +25, morning star, somewhat crit weighting. Strong forge, 3.5m.
-- Krolvin backslasher: +25, short sword, somewhat crit weighting. 1m-1.5m
-- Opaque vultite falchion: +20, falchion, somewhat damage weighting. Great for ambushing, 450k.
-- A glaes-hafted shimmering ora warmace +22, mace, somewhat crit weighting. Awesome weapons, 4m. Sanctified?
As you continue to read, the script ends in a blur, the faintly glowing letters fade, and you cannot read the rest. You have a sense that this is the end of Warclaidhm's consolation today.
